Youth and children are important to us because they are important to God.
We provide personnel and programs designed for youth and children, as appropriate and as finances allow. We try to avoid entertainment-based youth and children’s ministries, and instead emphasize discipleship-based ministries. Costs for activities and retreats is kept as minimal as possible, so that a family of modest means can have several children participate at once. In general, we try to avoid costly sorts of programs, activities, trips and events in favor of personal engagement with life in Christ and inexpensive activities that have a primarily spiritual rather than entertainment focus, and where the fun is free rather than costly. We hope that our church’s youth and children’s activities will teach and model an anti-materialistic lifestyle.
