Linebrook Church

About Us

Linebrook Church is similar to house churches that existed in the time of the New Testament. We are a caring fellowship of 10–20 parishioners who regularly gather for worship and fellowship. Our Sunday services are a response to Christ’s invitation to gather together as his family to worship and praise our gracious, merciful, great, and loving Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We are a seeker-loving church, but not a seeker-driven church, meaning that we try to follow the guidance of the Bible rather than prevailing cultural tastes on matters of worship practice and style. We are a missionary church, with a zeal to see people come to faith and grow as disciples of Christ both in the local area and around the world, and therefore we commit sizable resources for the spread of the good news.

All are welcome to come and worship with us!

Linebrook Church is fortunate to have, as needed, a deaf interpreter to minister to those who are hearing impaired (please contact us ahead of time so we can accommodate you!).

In addition to our Sunday morning worship service, we provide regular Adult Education classes during the academic calendar year for those seeking to further grow in their understanding of different aspects of the Christian faith.

Our Pastor

Laura Miguélez Quay has served as senior pastor of Linebrook Church since August 2015, after serving as interim pastor for the summer of 2015.

Laura was born in Cuba and moved with her family to the United States to escape the regime of then President Fidel Castro. She grew up in New Jersey and was not raised in a Christian home. She earned a Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a Doctorate in Philosophy of Religion from Boston University.

After living and teaching in Illinois for about 16 years, Quay moved back to Massachusetts in 2014 with her new husband, Ron Quay, who became the  music director at Linebrook Church. When the former pastor retired, Laura eventually stepped into the role, first in an interim pastor, then accepting the call as Senior Pastor in August 2015. In addition to her pastoral work, Quay teaches ancient Greek and theology at Gordon-Conwell.
